REGULATIONS ON THE TEACHER OF ACADEMICIAN K.SATPAEV EKIBASTUZ ENGINEERING INSTITUTE

 

  1. THE STATUS OF THE TEACHER

 

1.1 The teachers of K.Satpaev Ekibastuz Engineering Technical Institute are highly qualified specialists, scholars with scientific and academic degrees (at least master's degree). EETI teachers are actively engaged in research activities.

1.2 The status of a EETI teacher is defined according to the following components: - high quality of teaching and research, scientific supervision of final works, master's and candidate dissertations; - publications in the national and international journals; - fulfillment of  scientific research, applied and other projects.

1.3 A EETI teacher is a socially responsible person, who actively supports the mission, strategy, goals and objectives of the institute, strictly observes the requirements of the Code of Ethics of the teacher and staff of K.Satpaev Ekibastuz engineering-technical institute.

 

2. PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL QUALITIES OF THE EETI TEACHER

2.1 The teacher of EETI is a patriot of Kazakhstan and his institute, he is the example of conscientious and creative attitude to official duties, the example of high professionalism; he aims to support a healthy moral and psychological climate of the Institute.

2.2 The EETI teacher is characterized: as an honest, educated, scholarly competent person, persisted in implementing the results of scientific research; owning pedagogical skills; developing his creative potential; leading a healthy lifestyle.

 

3. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TEACHER

 

3.1 To fulfill the requirements of the Institute Charter, the Code of Ethics of the faculty and staff, internal regulations and other normative acts of Ekibastuz engineering-technical institute named after academician K.Satpaev.

3.2 To provide the high quality of educational process and scientific research.

3.3. To develop students’ professional qualities, a clear civic position, the need for work in the conditions of modern society; to develop students' independence, initiative, creativity

3.4 To improve his own professional and cultural level.

3.5 To create authorial programs, techniques, tutorials, to apply innovative teaching technologies.

3.6 To develop scientific cooperation with foreign colleagues.

3.7 To keep good order and discipline at the Institute, carefully treat the property of EETI.

3.8 To promote creating a positive image of EETI in Kazakhstan and abroad.

3.9 Actively involve the students, undergraduates in research work.

3.10 To take an active part in the career-oriented work.

3.11 To take an active part in the educational activities of the Institute.

3.12 In a timely manner to carry out the reporting requirements concerning scientific and pedagogical activities.

4. THE RIGHTS OF THE FACULTY MEMBER

The EETI teacher has the right to:

4.1 elect and be elected to the governing bodies of the Institute and its structural subdivisions.

4.2 participate in the formation of educational content of training, adequate to the present level of development of science and technology

4.3 use the educational - material and social infrastructure facilities, the library and Information fund of the Institute

4.4 participate in solving urgent issues of development of the Institute.

4.5 get the material and moral incentives for conscientious work and to be submitted to state awards.

5. MEASURES OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

5.1 Various forms of moral and material encouragement are established for active research and teaching work, participation in public activities.

5.2 Ethical violations of the teachers are brought for discussion of the EETI Commission on Ethics awards.

5.3 For violation of the rules stated in the Charter and the Code of Ethics of the teacher and staff of Ekibastuz engineering-technical institute named after academician K.Satpaev, appropriate disciplinary actions (the remark, reprimand, severe reprimand) up to dismissal from the institute may be taken.
